This year our joint venture has taken a big turn. Created right before the covid 19 crisis, DHF-TS faced a complicate environment to start to its activity. However, we are proud to announce that we have signed this year our first major contract in Asia.
At the beginning of this year, POSCO E&C have selected D’Hondt Friterm Thermal Solutions for the design and manufacturing of complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers for the Extension and Modernization of the Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant in Warsaw, Poland.
This eco-friendly incineration and power generation project was ordered by Warsaw Waste Treatment Corporation (local government) and is aimed to supply 14 MWe of electricity and 54 MWt of heat.
Our equipment will allow the Waste Treatment Plant to run at its optimal capacity by cooling down the steam turbine. DHFTS will supply 1 set of Fin Fan Cooler made of 3 V shape modules.
Our Joint Venture DHFTS managed the whole commercial and technical bidding and will also handle the design and manufacturing of complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers:
Engineering and Project Management will be handled by our team in France, whilst bundles and modules will be manufactured and assembled in Turkey at our partner factory, Friterm.
A first step for our recent joint venture on the Asian market, collaborating with the major Korean EPC. The completion of this project is fully in line with our strategy and international setup and calls for many other successful projects in the future!
