heat and power plant Project

D’Hondt-Friterm Thermal Solutions has been selected for CHP cogeneration plant to be built in Siechnice, Poland

Polimex Mostostal selected D’Hondt-Friterm Thermal Solutions to supply complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers for a new heat and power plant Project that is being built at Siechnice, in the Wrocław agglomeration.

The project implementation includes the construction of a CCGT unit with a total electric capacity of 179.4 MW and thermal capacity of 162.9 MWt, a heat accumulator and four water boilers with a total capacity of 152 MWt by the Contractor in the “turnkey” formula. The new low-emission gas-fired unit will replace a 120-year-old coal-fired CHP plant.

Our equipment will allow the Power Plant to run at its optimal capacity by operating both on the closed cooling water and the district heating circuits.

D’Hondt-Friterm Thermal Solutions will supply in total 2 sets of Fin Fan Coolers made of respectively 14 and 17 modules.

D’Hondt-Friterm Thermal Solutions and D’Hondt Thermal Solutions Korea have managed the commercial and technical bidding stages.

D’Hondt Thermal Solutions Korea has signed the contract and will subcontract the activity to our Joint Venture D’Hondt-Friterm Thermal Solutions that will now handle the design and manufacturing of complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers.

Engineering and Project Management will be handled by D’Hondt Thermal Solutions France, while bundles and modules will be manufactured and assembled at our partner factory, Friterm in Turkey.

Special thanks to Polimex Mostostal teams for the quality of our collaboration and their trust in our compact technology.

Heading towards new horizons!
