Samsung C&T selected DH-TS korea to supply complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers for Cogeneration and Desalination Plant Project that will be installed in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The plant is a combined cycle configuration and will provide a net power of 940 MW and export 1084 t/h LP steam to Tanajib Gas Plant (TGP). Our equipment will allow the Power Plant to run at its optimal capacity by cooling down the closed cooling water and condensation return systems.
DHFTS will supply in total 2 set of Fin Fan Cooler made of 37 modules.
DHFTS and DH-TS Korea have managed the commercial and technical bidding stages for the last 3 years. DH-TS Korea has signed the contract and will subcontract the activity to our Joint Venture that will now handle the design and manufacturing of complete modularized Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers:
Engineering and Project Management will be handled by DH-TS France, while bundles and modules will be manufactured and assembled at our partner factory, Friterm.
Another successful collaboration for our recent joint venture, proving it has its place in the power generation market, by working with a major Korean EPC. The completion of this project is fully in line with our strategy and an important reference to extend our collaboration with Asian EPC.
